A project with options: first Scopes 1 and 2, then full Scopes 1–3, then a Scope 3 method and a calculator. The work runs in stages that match the company’s resources.
The client was choosing the right scope of work. It needed emissions data. At the same time, the project had to fit its own resources and readiness.
So we did not offer one fixed option. We prepared several paths. In many manufacturing companies, full Scope 3 does not happen at once. First you measure your own emissions, understand the data and set the boundaries. Only then do you decide on the full value chain.
3 levels of maturity: first a report for Scopes 1 and 2, then Scope 3. Last come a calculator and training for the team.
The company can do the project in stages. It does not have to set up a full reporting system all at once.
This approach lowers the risk of overloading the company. The process grows step by step, from a basic emissions report to a more advanced system for Scope 3 data.
Calculation of direct emissions and indirect emissions from energy (Scopes 1 and 2).
A calculator and training so that the team can work on its own, fully in line with the GHG Protocol for Scopes 1 and 2.
Rules for collecting data, choosing emission factors and recording what is left out.
Calculation of the selected relevant categories.
A calculator and training so that the team can work on its own, fully in line with the GHG Protocol for Scope 3.
The client got a clear path: from a basic emissions report to a more advanced system for Scope 3 data. This model lowers the risk of overloading the company and lets the process grow step by step.
Not every company has to start with a full corporate footprint for all three scopes. Often the best plan is to go in stages. First come Scopes 1 and 2, and the team learns to work with them. Then you add Scope 3.
Let’s talk. We will choose stages that match your company’s resources and readiness.
